massages for men

This is going to seem more controversial than I mean it to be. Really I was just wondering about the topic.

I really love having a massage and every now and then will pay for one. They have always been female masseuses and I think I prefer it that way although I don't have a strong view on it.

It occurred to me that I am not sure how comfortable I would be if DH went for a massage though. I know men who go for sports massages but none who go just purely for the physical pleasure. Is it normal for men to go for massages that aren't related to health or sport?

Wow! I took my bf to get his very first massage on our anniversary. It didn’t cross my mind to be concerned as I love receiving a massage myself so wanted him to experience it. He had a lovely red-head massage him and they spoke the entire time. He found it difficult to completely relax as it was his first professional massage. I also give him a massage frequently. I’m not a pro but I enjoy doing it as it relaxes me too. Could that be something you would be happy to do for him as a compromise? Get some guidance from YouTube and start off slowly. To be honest, if my bf had a problem with me receiving a massage from a male or female, the relationship is over. It tells me he doesn’t trust me to be a decent human being and perhaps he thinks I have no self control. Not cool at all.

As a bloke who has had a few massages, including as part of my honeymoon, they are not ‘arousing’ in that sense. It might just be me I guess but I find them totally relaxing, I’m more likely to fall asleep than get a boner.

This has never ever crossed my mind. I've been for a lot of spa massages and I am pretty confident that they are all super professional and there to do a job.

I barely even register who is doing my massage as you literally say hello to them, undress, and then your head is down in the massage table. I would imagine most men just find the experience relaxing. It's not like their eyes are wide open staring at the woman whilst she is rubbing him. Even when you turn over, they normally put cucumber or a towel over your eyes otherwise it's just awkward.

I'm a woman but I have had a man do my massage once. Totally unexpected as it was booked at a spa and had no idea who the person would be. And honestly, didn't even notice the difference as I probably looked at him for about a minute in total.

OP, you are being as ridiculous as your are insulting to masseurs for suggesting their work is sexual.

Do you police your DHs thoughts in other ways? Do you mind him going to a swimming pool or beach with all those scantily clad women!? 😮. And female barbers?!

I do massages and in my experience, most clients normally prefer to be massaged by the opposite sex unless their religion or upbringing demands otherwise.
