Should I be concerned!?

I went in a date with a guy 4 days ago. He told me on the date that he previously was addicted to drugs but isn’t anymore which I thought you know everyone has a past. Anyway last few days have been hectic for me, then today he turned up at my house with two cups of coffee (one oat one soya as he didn’t know which I’d like) unannounced and I’m just not sure how I feel about this! My gut is telling me that this is a bit too much, especially after one date. Also yes he did know where I lived before hand as we shared a taxi home.

what does everyone else think about this?

Definitely think it’s overload, stuff with dd and the coffee and just showing him! Think what threw me was his apologies afterwards.. but I’m right to trust my instincts. Just had a little head wobble!

Now I’m going to send him a message saying not to contact me again or come to the house. Luckily I have two sisters who are police officers should he turn to turn up again or harass me

Crazy behaviour. You're doing the right thing op. Be clear, calm, and keep away. Always listen to your gut.

And even if you set aside the whole stalkerish behaviour I would still feel deeply uncomfortable at the idea of bringing a drug addict in my kid's life. Relapsing is so incredibly common among addicts. Once an addict, always a blip away from a relapse. Really not worth the risk with kid's involved.

I'd probably start with just "It was lovely to meet you, but I'm not interested in taking things further. All the best, Onestep"
