Just I hear a lot about people 'trying' and having a good time, it working for a few weeks supificially, then being really shocked when he says it's not working - but I seem to be in a gender reversal here; he seems to think it's fine (as in bearable) where as I am just, no, it's dead. Friedns yes, lovers no. Best to split as friends than warring lovers.

No advice to give but agree that best to split friends rather than hating each other.
