Funniest/weirdest first date?

I've heard all sorts on here when it comes to dating. I'd like to hear any crazy first date stories. Funny ones are good but don't mind serious ones either ☺️

I was OLD about 10 years ago and met up with a man who told me on the first date that he thought he would marry me. He actually said that he didn't want to marry me but I'd be good for him and help to 'tame' him. I said, 'do I get a say in this?' He replied, 'no'.

Despite the weirdness, the rest of the date was actually ok and I agreed to see him again. We arranged to meet outside his block of flats but when I got there, he was nowhere to be seen. I rang him and he said he was in his flat still getting ready and he would buzz me in. He opened the door in his boxers while he cleaned out his ear with an earbud. He invited me in, gave me a quick peck/kiss and then announced that kissing me was 'like kissing his sister' and he decided we shouldn't take it any further. I was annoyed that he'd wasted my time in letting me travel 1.5 hours to his house, only to be told he didn't want to see me again.

I decided to leave and he suggested we still go out 'as friends' but I said no. Later that night, he emailed me a pornographic story he'd written which involved me being tied to a table. He then rang to see if I'd received it and I told him to never contact me again. He said if I cut him out of his life he'd 'probably kill himself' (after 1.5 dates!!!) so I just hung up the phone.

The following week I changed my number and deleted my OLD profile.

Reading some of these and I'm gobsmacked that any woman hung around until the end of the date.

So @NorthernPops you asked for stories about weird dates but you've literally none to share? So what prompted you to ask?

I asked because I'm always hearing about how hard the dating scene is these days. I didn't remember it being this crazy lol

But then again, from the responses, either us guys don't have any crazy dates or we're oblivious to how bad we are 🤣

The one I shared was to do with me ending up with a 6 hour bus journey to get back home 🤦‍♂️

Believe it or not, this isn't the worst, this just makes the top 5...

I was at uni so only had the evening to meet someone I'd met OLD... the problem is was she lived 2 hours away and I didn't drive, so took the train up. Time was nice, she told me she had some rabbits and eventually she invited me back to hers.

She lived in a single room apartment and I kid you not, there wasn't a single spot in her place that wasn't covered in droppings! Anyway, (stupidly?) I stuck it through...

A couple hours later I'm looking to leave but I'd missed the last train. She offers to let me stay there with her and as I'm sitting on the bed, a rabbit jumps up and pees on it... "oh, he's never done that before!"... I'm thinking, yeah... I bet he has!

So I'm stuck... I stay, basically curled into a ball while she's trying her luck, which I politely decline... and in the morning for breakfast she orders a pizza!

First date with a man I met OLD. We were sitting having a lovely meal, great chat when he looked into my eyes and said' I'd love to shit on your chest'!
I just sort of mumbled finished my dinner in record time and said I had to go!!!

Should have caught a late night bus out of there like I once had to when I missed train after a date.
Sounds like there would have been more space on a seat there as well....and hopefully less droppings 🤢
