I love all the threads where posters share why they love their partners, or when they felt loved etc and think they're a really heartwarming addition to what is often a tough and harrowing (but so important) board. With that in mind, I hope this post is OK, I just wanted to share my excitement and it's too early to call any of my friends!

I woke up this morning to see my partner measuring a ring i regularly wear. He doesn't know i spotted him, and i'm not going to say anything, but i have a little glowy feeling in my stomach :)

I know it's a non story really, but would love to hear if anyone else has had a lovely little relationship moment recently.

Congratulations! I don't have a lovey dovey moment of my own to recount (happily married but many years in now so the mundaneness of life dominates) but the description of your proposal reminded me of once, a few years ago, when dh were out walking in our favourite beauty spot, we chanced upon a couple drinking champagne. He had just surprised her with a proposal and whipped the champagne out of his backpack! They asked us to take photos of them which we were delighted to do for them. She was American, I recall, and was ringing her mother on her mobile. It was a rare moment when you shared in the happiness of complete strangers. I think I will remember it most if not all my life.
