Which is worse in a relationship?

Which would you class as worse and more like "cheating" or a more unforgivable thing?

Talking to someone you know while in a relationship (of the opposite sex) about details of your relationship, confiding in them kind of thing but not having any sexual talk or anything like that.

Or getting naked photos/intimate videos of someone else? And having talk about the other person is attractive but not really talking about your relationship much.

You did nothing wrong talking to a friend about your relationship/ sex life- that's what friends are for!

He's a *** for sexting.

Dump him move on.

Oh and he's psychologicallly abusing you for trying to deflect blame to you.

They are all bad and now at my age I would leave and end a relationship for any one of those things alone.

That is not to say that when I was young and naive that I didn’t overlook and try to forgive such betrayals but I can with confidence say that absolutely none of that shit would fly now!

Talking to a friend about your relationship is perfectly normal, that’s what friends are for to confide in if you need to. The second is obviously unacceptable

It would depend on context. If I had been cheated on and I had a good friend of the opposite sex, I would confide in them. Nothing wrong in that.

There are situations where a person fancies another and so will be economical with the truth about their primary relationship in the hope to garner sympathy from the person they fancy. They would be doing it to gain attention and so that would be wrong.

Sending naked photos/intimate videos to another secretly while you're in a supposedly committed relationship is always wrong.

What's the context?

If someone is trying to make you think that the first example is equivalent to the second example they are abusive. To be comfortable trying to convince someone of that is abusive.

The first example may be considered a betrayal, depending on how much intimate detail is shared (and how insecure the partner is)

The second example is cheating.
