I met a man on OLD in 2020. We got on well & I liked him but he lived a couple of hours away & seemed to want to move in with me very quickly. Lots of alarm bells ringing after lots of questions about money & value of my house etc & also around his drinking. I ended things towards the end of 2020 & have just discovered by chance that he got married in September 2021 to someone he met within weeks of me ending things with him. I often beat myself up about being a bad judge of character but in this instance I can't help feeling I've had a lucky escape. So just wanted to share & say if in doubt, trust your gut.
