  4. Flowers - sorted
  5. Cake - in middle of sorting
  6. bridesmaids dresses - brought
  7. Mens suits - in process
  8. boys suits - getting there
  9. my dress - been bought for 2years needs to be altered cant get hold of dress till next thursday....can it be altered in time?
10. hair and make-up - sorted 11. photographer - sorted 12. people invited (by phone) is that really rude? 13. my underwear - a complete nightmre due to wierd bra size (30JJ). any ideas? needs to be strapless, basque or bra not fussy.

i think thats it as cant be bothered to do favours and all that malarky(sp?)

ok so on the underwear front, what do people think of corsets? are they supportive? i'm only asking as nowhere, literally nowhere can do me underwear, i cant even get it made as it takes up to 6weeks....grrrrr. corsets are my next option. (also it'll hold my belly in)

good idea or not?

I had a corest built into my dress - hugely supportive - no danger of falling out even when dancing wildly with my hands in the air ! I had a strapless bra as well but to be honest didn't need it - so I reckon a corset will be good for you - gives you a teeny tiny waist too (tho I'm sure you have one already!

Have you told the organist what music you're having??? If not I'd do it PDQ - they like to know it decent time (usually more than a month ).

typing out an order of service. and also beige/flesh coloured underwear is miles better than white if your dress is any way thin material. white will show on photos in some flash light

we haven't got the meeting with the vicar until tueday so.....not sure on order of service or hymns, but my firend is being our organist so i'm sure she'll be fine with little notice! if not i'll have to do it myself!!! going ring shopping today, not sure whether to end up wearing my engagement ring on the same hand or different. its quite a wierd shape so not sure i'll be able to get a band to look ok with it. anyway will just have try different ones i think.

thanks for all your help ladies. if i ned you again rest assured i'll be straight back!

can't you have a chat with your friend and choose the music? I'm 100% certain the vicar wouldn't mind if you'd already chosen your hymns/music - infact I'm sure they'd be quite pleased as it's one less thing for them to have to spend time doing with you.

I must say though - I'm an organist - but I'll be damned if I could have played for my own wedding - just a little tricky walking up and down the aisle while playing the organ at the same time........even speaking as an organist who has BF and played, and who on a weekly basis pushes a pushchair with one hand and plays with the other and her feet
