What help can I offer my friend?

My friend is in an awful relationship with her ex where he withholds financial support if she turns him down for sex. This has also resulted in him threatening to stop paying mortgage payments (she pays too and works full time) and threatening to kill her.
I want to refer her for some advice, but everything seems to be for people in relationships or living with the perpetrator whilst she doesn't. Any advice welcome

She needs to save the messages, and tell the police.
And she needs a formal financial arrangement. Preferably one where she is not dependent on him ( IE sell current house and get her own)

Has she contacted the police?

I think she needs to contact the police and ideally free herself from him financially. If there are children involved go direct to CMS. Can the house be sold?

Not so - Womens' Aid will help women who are in, or have exited their abusive relationship. They have a section called "post separation abuse".

I hope she gets in touch with WA, logs all his threats with dates & times, & contacts the police too.
