Mine has either been in bed or sitting on the sofa most of the holidays unless I suggest otherwise. He would sit there and starve rather than get up and make himself food or get a brew on. I love him very much, I accepted a long time ago I wouldn't want to put up with anyone elses bad points, and should thank my lucky stars.
Would like to hear from other MN about their DH whether they are wonderful chaps, lazy slobs, downright bounders or any other known varients....................

Dh is so busy doing stuff I often feel guilted into doing more than I would by choice. Sometimes I wish he would chill more so I could enjoy some guilt-free slobbing about.

Acinonyx - this is the major plus point of being married to lazy slob types if I feel like doing very little he doesn't require sedation and I dont feel guilty about not doing anything. Come round and slob with us!

I guess the only problem is that if I were married to someone like me nothing would ever get done, no bills would ever be paid, and we would live in absolute chaos.

Can I come and slob maybe one a week?

baconeggnchips · 02/01/2008 12:18

of course!

From the op "He would sit there and starve rather than get up and make himself food or get a brew on"

You see, I would've tested this theory out long ago...

baconeggnchips · 02/01/2008 12:44

i have tested this, and not fed him, but he will nick stuff i make myself which is more annoying than making him something
glad you are perfect and have a wonderful realationship which you do not need to complain about

My comment was meant tongue in cheek.....

If mine was like your lazy fucker od a dh Bacon, he would have been out of the door long ago.

Mine is putting the laundry away and making our bed up with clean bedlinen as I speak. Then he will wash dd's hair and peel some potatoes.
