i have been up since 6am with the kids. dh is still in bed. everyday its the same. am fed up. i want a bloomin lie in!!

shouldnt feel like this as i know he is ill (back on anti biotics again and has been sick all day yesterday and day b4) but just want a lie in.

no, she phoned me yesterday and said she weren't coming! I think that dad is coming to the meal and then going home, you could go home iwth him

have you noticed that both our DH have got better with the kids as they have grown up?? Maybe we could try for a weekend away at some piont??

if it's any consolation, I was also up at 5am with DD, by the time DH roused himself I'd done 3 loads of washing, sorted it all out, put away, had shower blow dried hair, slapped makeup on, made brekkie... by the time he came down I was looking like some sort of demented Stepford Wife.

Of course I immediately laid into him about it, no idea why as it's always the same. If I ever want a lie-in, it's by special arrangement, and even then he lets the kids come and wake me up.

There's nothing you can do I'm afraid. Men are lazy sods!

well i've just got out of bed. dh took the girls out at just after 11, i had lunch, watched a bit of My Hero of tv, then went back to bed. and tonigt i'm gonna be even lazier and get a taleaway, sod the cooking!!

its amazing what lack of sleep can do to you isnt it. i feeel so much calmer now. still hogging the bathroom later tho. might even have a little bit of wine and some candles.

Ive not long got out the bath while ds2 was asleep and the other 2 were being good......just been making do with showers for ages.......forgot now nice a bath is!!!
