We are on the brink again due to the same issues of poor communication, lack of intimacy, jealousy and control. I have belatedly realised that we have become entrenched in parent-child type behaviour - I'm bossy and condescending, he's moody and lazy. We've had a lot of tears this week and he has agreed to go to counselling to try to improve his self-esteem. Can anyone recommend any books that might be helpful for us? We do love eachother but we are at make or break point I think. I just want to make sure we are doing everything we can.
