Anyone recommend a good dating site for singles?

I'm happy to pay to see professional individuals advertising as singles on a dating site.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Bumble worked for me. Met my lovely boyfriend on my first date from there.

Ok, thanks, appreciate that.

And thank goodness a success story.

My advice would be the paid for sites to be honest. Weeds out those who are actually committed to meeting someone Vs the ones who joined for free when pissed. Saying that, bumble has been quite kind to me.

I met my DH on PoF, I personally found the paid sites were actually worse in terms of timewasters and future fakers Blush

Battlingongraciously · 12/09/2021 20:25

Definitely going for the paid for sites.

I met some right weirdos on the paid sites so then started using Tinder and POF. Tbh all the sites are pretty hard work, you have to search hard to find the normal guys (or what ever your type is), I get loads of messages from weirdos which I just ignore but occasionally I come across interesting people, I have made several good friends but yet to find Mr right.

Battlingongraciously · 12/09/2021 20:28

Yes, I can imagine having to do lots of searching. Oh well, just make the best of it I suppose.

There’s no difference between the paid and free sites. You still have to do a lot of searching on both. The result is a combination of expectation, effort and pure luck.

Absolutely agree.

Thanks for the advice. I'm grateful, really hope to find someone nice and decent. Feeling like these people don't even exist at the moment. Suppose I will get over that x
