What makes you swipe right?

Having enjoyed reading the previous thread about swiping left - what gets the swipe of approval on a dating app? I'm not dating but for me it would be

A neat beard
A big smile
A nice dog 😂

If they went to the "University of Life" or the "School of Hard Knocks"

Oh, if they go on about being 'positive' in their profile a lot I swipe left. Seems like they will be either an irritating pollyanna or it's quite passive aggressive and they won't want to have difficult conversations or sort out any issues.

A normal, literate human being not interested in status symbols or sports but interested in the world. And someone who's taken the effort to write a good bio that tells me something about them.

I accidentally swiped right when I meant to swipe left (he had no bio and a daft photo)...we've been together for 5 years now and married for 3 months.

@bloodywhitecat that's amazing! I shudder to think what will happen with some of my accidental swipes!

To add... I never added a photo of
Myself or wrote much on my bio suffice to say I was a private person and was interested in a long term
Relationship . I had a photo of a beautiful part of my home town , a false name and did this because When I went on tinder first , I recognised many local married men and also married fathers of children with whom I work and felt uncomfortable at the prospect of sitting across from theM in PT meetings with their lovely wives .
I got plenty of matches , was pretty slow to reveal myself truly tp
Anyone , went on one and only date with a relatively local man and we're together a year !
His photo was simple in that he looked kind , was wearing a rugby jersey of the team that I follow , and his bio simply described him as someone who was ready for a long term
Relationship .
