Good man needs a good man....

I am a bloke who has a friend (female) who is a mid 30s attractive, slim, Northern Irish lady. She is intelligent, lovely and has a heart of gold. She has now been single for some time, works too hard and has gone through a couple of long relationships with blokes that as her friends we could all see were losers.

I would like to find a good man for her. she's beginning to give up hope! (I'll probably want to vet them first, so she doesn't pick another loser!)

She lives in Worthing and works in Crawley.

Does any one have a good single male friend that might prove a good match?

but seriously, it's a great idea to get a really good friend to pick someone for you rather than do the choosing yourself

DelGirl · 08/11/2004 16:15

why black eyes FF?

DelGirl · 08/11/2004 16:16

you reckon SM? I thought my choices had been pretty good up to now, with the odd exception. Still it wouldn't hurt.

fairyfly · 08/11/2004 16:17

oh yes forg ot that must be good in the kitchen, i cracked my head open at the weekend being an arse, doesn't hurt though, just looks incredibly attractive, i am stopping traffic

DelGirl · 08/11/2004 17:04

aww, sorry to hear that FF . Just get some designer sunglasses and no-one will ever know.

lou33 · 08/11/2004 19:06

how did you do that then ff?

sunchowder · 08/11/2004 19:47

Yes...inquring minds want to know FF...

jmg1 · 08/11/2004 19:50

I'm sure I warned her not to stop cars with her head.

wobblyknicks · 08/11/2004 20:09

lou - you may have made sm a very happy customer but I'm still waiting for mine, or had you given up after the long list of 'must haves'!!!

jmg1 · 08/11/2004 20:14

wk, lou alternates between women and men, so after sm it is my turn, then maybe you and then perhaps beetie!!

wobblyknicks · 08/11/2004 20:16

Ok, fair enough - so beety is a man now? SM's dreams really do come true (sm - could you somehow have a dream that I turn into a gorgeous billionaire who's going out with Hugh Jackman, by any chance???) !!!

hannahken180 · 08/11/2004 20:44

I think I'm going off this idea. You are all barking! how do you find the time to write all these messages? I can't keep up. Don't you have kids to look after? (He says while rocking colicy month old DD)

OP posts:
wobblyknicks · 08/11/2004 20:50

Sorry, sorry - we are all barking and spend far too much time on MN. I do have dd to look after, usually she gets to watch mummy type for 10 mins here and there but after 8ish I'm safe because she's asleep. To get back to your thread - jmg1 is quite as barking as some of us and (nowadays) nowhere near so addicted so he might be safe enough!!!

wobblyknicks · 08/11/2004 20:51

ARGH - that was meant to say ISN'T quite as barking - he'll kill me now!!!

jmg1 · 08/11/2004 20:55

hannahken180, thats why I haven't been on here for ages, you get sucked in and get addicted.

wobblyknicks · 08/11/2004 20:56

Yep, just look at you - not long ago you were nowhere to be seen, now you're popping up everywhere!!!

jmg1 · 08/11/2004 20:57

well i feel i have a duty trying to keep the likes of you under some sort of control - not really happening!

wobblyknicks · 08/11/2004 20:58

Hmmmm, I may be wrong but you seem to have made us worse, not kept us under control!!!

lou33 · 08/11/2004 21:07

jmg, are you casting nasturtiums on my sexuality?!

fairyfly · 08/11/2004 21:08

I just fell into a concrete step running to fast, i have taken to wearing sun glasses so i stop getting asked who hit me. I also am allowed on my own for the first time tonight which is a relief because i have spent the last three days asking if i was acting confused yet. My next door neighbour just called me a dosey mair is there really any need.

lou33 · 08/11/2004 21:14

did you spend sat night in a&e as well then?

Poor you xx

coppertop · 08/11/2004 21:21
wobblyknicks · 08/11/2004 21:22

ct - you would have sniggered more if I hadn't previewed and changed it from 'pooping'!!!

coppertop · 08/11/2004 21:40

Maybe he does that too!

lou33 · 08/11/2004 21:46

I think you are safe at this time of night ct. Jmg is probably in the land of nod!
