Not even three months in, so still very early days and in the "one day at a time" phase. Obviously can't call it a serious relationship yet but you've "met someone" and neither are seeing anyone else. How often would you want to see him?

@CatsNotDogs After I split from my husband I vowed never to live with a man again.
I've found a great guy who also doesn't want to live with someone.
Our relationship works perfectly.

I embrace my own time and space, I like to say that I get peopled out. Sounds mad but its true.

Hi OP, if you and he have different ideas on how much time to spend together, and there is no compromise without one person feeling resentful - the relationship is dead in the water. It's one thing to have to work around children, work schedules etc - quite another because you both have different ideas on how much time is too much/too little.

If you already find some of his needs annoying, do the right thing and end it with him. No one should have a partner who finds them irritating or a burden or needy, for the time they want together. And no one should feel harassed or under pressure to see their partner.

This is a basic area you both need to be in agreement on - and can both definitely find other people who will be more compatible with you.
