no, it is perfectly ok to list 5 negatives ... if it helps...
but my dh has just come in from pub and i woudl rather not, he would read my face like a book

LucyElasticband · 03/11/2007 21:27

peraps the negatives and positive shoudl be on the same thread, to counter balnce them

kerala · 03/11/2007 21:37

No negatives. Just perfect and I really mean that.

unfaithfull · 03/11/2007 23:54

mmmmm 5 negatives ok

1- his mother

2- thinking he's always right

3- erm

4- his mother

5- yes definately his mother

StarryStarryNight · 04/11/2007 00:06

I cant do 5 negative. Of corse, he is a human being, he is not 100% perfect, but neither am I. And to me, it would be a betrayal to list his faults.

But there is one which is no secret:

He works away A LOT. And I miss him.

themoon66 · 04/11/2007 00:10

1 - mega snoring
2 - inability to sort whites from darks when doing washing
3 - when not snoring, does a sort of fluttering of lips/popping sound which keeps me awake
4 - unable to ever screw a lid back on anything, be it toothpaste or tomato ketchup or mayonnaise.
5 - gets shaving oil over bathroom mirror, shower screen and wall. without fail.

themoon66 · 04/11/2007 00:13

MB... just read your post after i posted.

  1. Can't see beyond his flipping nose (where is...? Have you seen my...?
  1. His mother
  1. Lack of patience with DC (why don't they do as told...) crap
  1. His flammin' bristles and lack of shaving
  1. Likes watching pusses falling over with
kicked ankles on a Saturday night yet if his own D's fall over it's pick yourself up, dust off and you'll be alright.
handlemecarefully · 04/11/2007 00:28

Partners do test our patience sometimes. Tis natural. And there is nothing wrong with offloading!

and btw I think it is delusional not to be able to find a single fault in a loved one

Sixer · 04/11/2007 00:33

I'm sure his list about me would be double at least. So yes, i'm/have off loaded. Bottoms up MN.

handlemecarefully · 04/11/2007 00:37

I would be quite pleased if my dh could limit his list to just 5 things he dislikes about me ...he's a nice bloke and quite tolerant so it probably would be shorter than 5 (although I deserve more of a lambasting - being rather difficult to live with)

Boysandbeaches · 04/11/2007 00:49

Nothing that Relate couldn't have helped sort but then, both parties have to want to make it work.

Then, I read what MB/OJ are going through and where I am is simply not that hard.

Equally, the post about someone else's partner's tongue and nose made me LOL and mentally hope DS1 never does this - he has the biggest tongue I have ever seen.

  1. Has no ability to empathise
  2. Would sleep through bomb going off
  3. Is a total neat freak and always makes me feel like a shite housekeeper
  4. Appreciates me far more when I am working (like have two DS's 4 and 2 and DC3 on the way and managing our renovations leaves me too much time for myself)
  5. Thinks he is a better DH than any other he has ever met or heard of!

I don't think it hurts to have a a share - keeps things in perspective! I know when I do the +ve list I will feel very fortunate.
