Currently going through the family court.
Ex doesn't know where DD and I live, but of course I am worried because he's extremely violent and disturbed, and he unfortunately has parental responsibility..
In the future, subject to a final court order - if he does achieve overnight contact in the future and he is allowed to know details of where DD goes to school and her medical records etc... can these be redacted so he doesn't find out where he live?
If he finds out where we are it will be game over, he's a well known stalker to the Police, and not only this - he will literally move to where we are in order to make my life a misery.
My Solicitor advised that his PR can be restricted but I just wondered if that goes down to him not finding out where we live for our safety?
Has anyone been in a similar situation.

What has your solicitor said about the likelihood of him getting overnight contact?

Pebbledashery · 15/01/2021 20:17

@lyingwanker she said at the very most he will get contact centre and supervised for quite a long time. There's multiple safeguarding risks with him. Just thinking of the future really.

It's so hard trying to find your way through this. Believe me, I know. However, it seems like overnights are a long time away. Do you think he would stick to contact centres etc? And if it ever did progress to that you don't have to even do handovers personally, it can be through a 3rd party or still using a contact centre. Although, do you think he would be able to guess the area you live in from the contact centre? You'd have to get your solicitor to speak to the judge explaining all these safety worries because they are very real and very genuine concerns

Yes, I had a hearing earlier this week and cafcass were present and they have listed multiple safeguarding risks. The judge was extremely disturbed by it all. The contact centre will be near him.. I'm just thinking of the future. Does he actually need to know what school she would go to.. He could see school reports that are redacted and medical history that's redacted. It's just also as she gets older. He'll probe her to find out where we live.
