Just that really...
Been chatting with a guy. I'm usually one for meeting quickly after 2 or 3 messages but with Covid we've been chatting a lot - no prospect of meeting soon given the rules where we are. Yesterday he told me he'd deleted his profile because he felt uncomfortable with people at his children's school potentially seeing it. He didn't say it was because of me or anything. That didn't bother me. He also told me he was also chatting with one other person but that he suspected that would fizzle out. Fair enough. I don't have any issue expecting someone to be exclusive before we've even met! Liked the fact that he was being honest. I'm also not solely focused on him but he is the only person I'm chatting to a lot.
Then today, I lost my phone. Had this hunch that he hadn't deleted his profile so went on to pof and found him immediately. Told him I'd lost my phone so was contacting him on there. He's now saying it's only hidden. I know you can hide profiles without deleting them and I get that you might say you'd deleted your profile if you'd hid it if you intended to keep it hidden (seems like the same thing for some purposes in my opinion). But could someone you had a long chat history with still see your profile if was hidden? I suspect not but don't want to disbelieve him automatically...
