I think my husband is put off me after having a baby

So me and my husband are in our late 20s, we've been married over a year, dated for 5 years. We had our first baby 7 months ago, which was planned.

He is the most amazing husband and father the only issue is the sex. He feels reluctant to have oral sex like we used to. He said "I saw so much come out of your vagina, I just need time, maybe a few months". I feel as though he has trauma from seeing me give birth. After the baby was delivered he passed out in the hospital. I'm worried that he doesn't find me attractive anymore. He also is reluctant to have PIV sex either, it's like he's scared of my vagina. Has anyone experienced something like this before.

Not me but my cousin suffered severe trauma after witnessing his wife go through a horrendous experience.

He got over it in time but it wasn’t a pleasant experience for either of them.

Just keep talking to each other and hopefully he will come round. He’s been honest but you mustn’t feel bad although must be horrible to hear.

He is probably worried he's going to hurt you, and even the strongest sex lives are rocky for a while after a baby.

If it's like this a few months down the line maybe think about couples intimacy counselling?

If he passed out, he obviously found watching the birth very distressing. Maybe he should seek some counselling?
