I am in tears and don't know what to do or where to start. I have no job or savings. Not married, OH earns fairly well. How do i leave? We have a mortgage which until February i paid and also paid some of the deposit. Our house has gone up in value. We have a 4 year old son and due another in April. He isn't violent but is making my life miserable to the point in the week when he is at work i am a different person, happy but weekends he is just so grumpy and horrible. He is constantly tutting and sighing and at me and today I have flipped. It is a toxic environment and I don't know what to do.

Do you have any family who can take you in and support you til your baby is old enough to be left in childcare and you can go back to work?

You need to either sell the house and take the equity or get your ex to buy you out. Then i think unfortunately you will need to use the equity to rent and live until you're able to go back to work. Will you be able to make enough money working to cover nursery/a childminder? Could family do childcare?

You’ll need to sell the house and go back to work ASAP. Do you have any family to stay with temporarily?

Can he afford to buy you out of the house?

If not the only option is to take him to court to have the house sold.

@SanFranciscoCocksucker probably not although he isn't as open about money as he should be so not entirely sure. That is one of the many problems we have!
