My DM has recently had major surgery with 2 month recovery period. The surgeon has advised that she needs care over this time. She will require further surgery after Christmas with similar care needed post op. Past couple of weeks me, my DSis and DB have provided this care. We all live 2/3 hours drive from DM. I’m currently here with 18month old DS, having left DP and DD (9) back home. I think a national lockdown will be announced soon. Do I stay here? DP has very demanding job and will have to do school runs and care for DD. DD will obviously miss me over such an extended period of time. My DSis and DB are working, I’m a SAHM. Also - am I allowed to travel home (2hr drive) during lockdown, and return to provide care? Thanks all!
