We ended up fighting

I feel awful, last night me and DP had a fight and DS saw the last stages of it. We were arguining and I got annoyed and threw an egg at him and so he threw a sausage at me (cold) so without thinking I threw some bacon at him from the pan and its burnt the side of his face. The mess is still there this morning and I cant face cleaning it up as it brings it all back.

not been around too much recently, so I don't know....saw her about a week ago, but that was it...she may have fallen through a time/space/consciousness gap in the fabric of MN and found......RL!.....but I doubt it...night all.

still dont get why everyone finds this so amusing. as has been said, if op had said that her dh threw some bacon out of the pan at her during a fight and it burnt her face we would be begging her to leave the violent sod, instead you are laughing, making jokes and assume she is a troll.

a) op is a trainee social worker
b) has posted about her relationship problems before
c) is a regular who has namechanged for this

I think some of the replies on this thread are quite frankly disgusting.

The op might be true, absurd as it might seem to you, why not give someone the benefit of the doubt.

Well donr, you have possibly stopped a woman who is in a volatile and unpredicatble relationship, and who also has a child who witnessed his parents fighting, from getting any more help in case people laugh at her.

I am noty often incensed by anything I read on here, but some of the replies on this thread tun my stomach. You should be ashamed.

Blackeyedgirl, I hope you can get some help, and don;t be afraid to post on here again.

I'd like to apologise for finding this funny. I did initially think the OP was one of those harmless trolls, just trying to make us laugh, but now I've discovered she is for real, I am really, really sorry.

I am truly disgusted by myself and hope you get the help you need to move on with this relationship. I also hope you don't feel that you can't come on here again with your problems because of my actions, because from first hand experience, I know MN is a fab place when something is on your mind or just if you want a chinwag.

I wish you, your DP and your DC all the luck in the world with sorting things out.

Thanks. I know if I was in the OP's situation right now, I'd be really devastated that people were making a fool of the problems in my life. I just hope I haven't scared the OP away and that she'll forgive me for causing her problems on top of the ones she already has.
