In my opinion it isn't useful for anything more than the child hand-overs and other times of brief contact.

You cant grey rock a narcissist or similar for long periods of time because narcissists are adept at pushing buttons and if they get a whiff that you are trying deliberately shut them out, they will up and up the aunty until they break you.

Makes me cringe on here when people tell others to grey rock the narcissist in their life rather than telling them to get the hell out asap.

Not that it doesn't have its uses. But only when you are out and still have to see the arsehole on occasion for some reason.
