Thought I'd dip my toe. Its horrendous. I only seem to attracted idiots who just want sex. Most are much older then me and I'm early 40's!!

I've got an honest profile and mention my kids. I keep chat bright and breezy, open ended questions, but nothing. Thought I'd met someone with potential to meet up, but hes just asked for dirty pics, argh!!

I'm no bloody prude, but a connection and a few dates isnt that much to ask for surely?!?

Oh lord, I consider myself lucky that I'm just getting asked for pictures!!

It takes a little while to fine tune your radar so to speak but you soon become very efficient at weeding out the muppet and time wasters. I personally tried to speak to people on the phone fairly early on and avoided loads of email exchanges. You can tell in 2 mins on the phone whether someone is worth a date or not. All first dates were of the coffee/light lunch variety.

Sadly the thing about POF is, it gives men the confidence to approach women they wouldn't have the guts to in real life. That, in turn, gives them a confidence which usually comes across as arrogant.
I in no way think I'm too good for anyone but, in all honesty, some of the guys who messaged me really were punching!

Had some horror messages/dates, had some extremely entertaining experiences and eventually met my lovely DP on tinder of all places and a few years down the line we have a lovely life and tinder baby! (Early 30s and he was late 30s when we met)

I am glad to say I have never had any 'dick pics' or been asked to supply any kind of photo. This may be because I do not repond to 90% of people, especially if their opening is 'hi sexy' etc. My radar is very finely tuned.
