Is this all I can hope for? Someone with an OLD profile that starts with 'I've got all my own teeth'?

I really think I'd be up for an arranged marriage at this point.

Crikey no! I am on the upward side of 45 and have been willingly seduced by a chap who is younger, fitter, clever, kind (and definitely seems to have his own teeth!)

Have you seen Indian Matchmaker? I would love a matchmaker-- good old-fashioned one!
I opened this though because I thought teeth and a great sense of humor! Don't know what the picture is like, but if someone makes me laugh they win a little with me.

Does he have hair too?!

Own teeth is a definite plus. Hair even more so. Does he have hair? Head hair obviously. Bald patches make me feel peculiar. I know it's a natural thing but they freak me out a little.

Did he write anything else or just that he had his own teeth?? And what state are these teeth in?

DollyMixtureLulus · 24/07/2020 23:21

That was his complete selling point, poor bloke. He added a jaunty thumbs up too though.

He could either be bald or, if we were being generous, he could have gone for the lockdown look.

I was told by a card reader ( who is also apparently a dating coach and from the looks of it quite successful lol ) that at my age 50 if I end up single again the best I can hope for is a man with all his teeth because all the guys my age are looking for younger women Smile lovely huh

LilMissRe · 25/07/2020 11:41

I come across profiles like this all the time and I'm in my 30's, from guys either side of 30.

Is this a British thing do you think? I have friends in Canada who laugh at the thought as guys don't usually put that stuff on their profiles there.

Ceebeegee · 25/07/2020 14:55

I see teeth mentioned on quite a few profiles. I always assumed it was a lighthearted joke playing on the "i have my own car, career, house, dog, cat and my own teeth" thing.

And to be honest... Knowing they've got teeth is a good thing. I went on a date with someone who turned out to have only two or three teeth in very bad condition, it was a complete turn off. Looking back at their profile, not a single picture showed their teeth. So now seeing "i have my own teeth" is a brownie point!

Let's face it though, if he's got someone else's teeth, then he's probably a serial killer and to be avoided.
