Feel like I'm the only one! People are incredulous that's we are still following the rules. We are spending time together but still social distancing. Who else is?

You're allowed to see and stay over each other's house now in cases where a couple doesn't live together.

Surely though once you start staying over you may as well just give up with the social distancing though. I'm in a support bubble with my elderly parents so don't want to put them at any risk.

Well, there's no "rule" against it now, so it's at your own discretion.

If you don’t want to risk your parents, then that’s not about ‘following the rules’, but making some careful, difficult decisions. I’ve been seeing mine, but we’re also making some careful decisions about how often and when because of his job.

If you miss your partner though, there are ways around it that you could work it, depending on how reliant your parents are and how often they need your physical presence for help?

But you can see him ?
The arent any " rules " that say you can't?
God just go and see him and hug him !

Grobagsforever · 17/07/2020 17:22

Why would you do this?

JorisBonson · 17/07/2020 18:43

You're allowed to see your partner. You're only not because you're bubbling with your parents.

epythymy · 17/07/2020 19:48

You're not actually following the rules though as the rules state you're now allowed to stay over etc. You just want to be a martyr. Enjoy!

Not a chance, quite the opposite!
