This is quite a tricky situation and really looking for advice/ opinions.
Parents born in mind 70’s. Until the pandemic hit mum was working. Dad retired but very active - went walking with friends every day, does all the shopping etc .
They now haven’t left the house since probably February - except for a single drive earlier this week to “keep the car ticking over”.
We have dropped some shopping off (they get most online) and until very recently wouldn’t even open L the door - despite me staying well over 2m back.
Dad has gone to chat to neighbours over the fence and mum had berated him. I’ve floated the idea of going around and sitting in the garden for 15 minutes or so (huge garden - side entrance so no need to go through house etc).
I can tell my dad is getting a bit down with it, but my mum is genuinely scared (understandably so).
Am at a bit of a loss...
