Return day of non molestation order

I'm helping a friend who has a non molestation order against her husband. The return day is tomorrow, Friday 19th. He has a lawyer and has submitted a lengthy statement in rebuttal.

My friend does not qualify for legal aid because of the value of their property but she dies not have access to money to pay fie a solicitor. Clearly he is using family money for his solicitor.

My question is whether she could get a postponement in order to get a solicitor, and also surely if he is accessing family funds for a solicitor then so should she be able to?

Any ideas on what she should do, please?

If the family money is both theirs, then yes I would say she has equal rights to it. Or do you mean he has used his own (extended) family’s money?

Sorry I don’t know if she can get a postponement. Wouldn’t they have expected her to get a Solicitor already? I’m not sure tbh.

Thanks for your reply. I am certain that the funds he is using is from the marital money, so money he earned and on which the household exists
