Because yesterday I was working out how many potatoes I'd need for the roast lamb and if we should have broccoli or cauliflower. .

I remember somebody I worked with said her sister had once remembered she hadn't taken the chicken out of the freezer for tomorrow's dinner yet. So, you are not alone!!

I'm always wondering how long we'll have before a small child bursts in shouting bundle!

kitsandbits · 24/09/2007 15:07

PregnantGrrrl · 24/09/2007 15:10

but at least its bloody good when we do! lmao

Cappuccino · 24/09/2007 15:18

my husband

(people really think about potatoes? Even if you find yourself accidentally thinking about potatoes, shouldn't you make an effort to stop doing so?)

numptysmummy · 24/09/2007 15:18

kitsandbits - we tend to have sex in the morning and ds2 thinks we are having a bundle so shouts 'BUNDLE' very loudly so the other dcs can join the bundling fun. Dh with 4 small dcs on back is most of putting

numptysmummy · 24/09/2007 15:21

Not that we're in same room as ds2 - only if he wakes up and comes in iyswim!

StrawberryMartini · 24/09/2007 19:14

Cappuccino, of course I tried to think of him, but those darn spuds wouldn't leave me alone.

"My Lord, you have forgot to wind the clock!"

That's what Tristram Shandy's mum shouts during the instant of his conception in the Lawrence Sterne novel I think.
