I do love my dad but it's so complicated. His wife is my best friend's mum...got together shortly after my mum died and i find that she has got increasingly insufferable over time with her sly digs and comparing me and my friend. Likewise i feel that my friend and i dont get on so well now due to lots of other stuff.
Then my partners ex is ok but still hard work....ditto MIL.
The only bad thing is i have more time to think about how exhausting all this family stuff is.!!
For me lockdown is a great excuse to get some much needed space!!

Not just family, everyone. I know how it sounds but lock down has massively reduced my anxiety and I feel a lot happier.

The crime rate is so low that last week the police investigated the attempted theft of a bicycle from outside the corner shop, and I'm not in some sleepy village.

I didn't realise how bad it was until I didn't have to do it any more. I've been really productive as well; growing veg, making loose covers for the sofa, finishing off loads of half done projects.
I really don't want to go back to 'normal', its like living in a fog compared to this.
