Do you get jealous of your partners celebrity crushes?

Mine mostly loves Amy Hart from love island, Blake Lively, Karen Gillan and a couple of others. He follows them all on Instagram and is frequently ‘liking’ their photos - generally the ones of them looking gorgeous rather than the ones of what they cooked for dinner.

DPs crushes look nothing like me and are all tiny figures and blonde/red hair with big boobs. I’m a brunette with an ironing board chest thanks to breastfeeding and a few lb heavier due to lockdown

I’m also a blatant hypocrite though because I have my own celebrity crushes

I can’t shake these jealousy niggles.

But OP you say that you do exactly the same thing, so you know that when you do it it doesn't mean anything or mean you fancy or love your partner any less. So why do you think it's different for him?

So let me get this straight, you do exactly the same thing as him yet think it’s okay to get into a “stinking mood” all day to the point where it’s obviously affecting him & instead of coming out with what was bothering you straight away, he had to ask several times? Did you do the passive aggressive “nothing’s wrong” when something’s obviously wrong routine first?

Yeah I’m sure you do but your actions are right out of the abusers textbook on how to control behaviour. Your DH will now feel he has no choice but to modify his behaviour to stop you getting in a stinking mood again which is laughable considering you’re “guilty” of the exact same thing he is.

If he doesn’t change his behaviour to keep you sweet, then next time you’ll clobber him with the “but you know how it makes feel & you did it again anyway” spiel.

If the sexes were reversed, people would be shouting red flag / controlling behaviour.
