Apologies for being off topic but over the years I’ve picked up some fantastic book recommendations on here regarding life, relationships, self improvement etc that have really
impacted me. I’ve now discovered podcasts - can anyone recommend any on confidence, anxiety, anything more light hearted, single parenting, self-worth etc etc? Thanks all 😊

It doesn't fit exactly with your categories, but I love "Unladylike". It's two friends who take a feminist look at everything from fair pay to poo-ing to nail salons. It's very funny and helps deconstruct a lot of BS.

"Terrible, Thanks for Asking" - has won lots of awards and is highly recommended. They often talk about the difficult things that life throws at you and coming out the other side.

"Afford Anything" - it's American too so not directly applicable to UK saving/finance, but it's very good on general financial advice and structuring and is female led so again, breaks down some BS.

I am sure that searching for TTFA will lead you to other similar themes so you might find something more suited to confidence and self-worth. Happy listening!

I like Dear Prudence
Its an advice podcast that often talks about boundaries and relationships. Also try the Captain Awkward website if you like this type of advice

Baggage Reclaim
Unf*ck Your Brain
Angie Atkinson's Shine Buzz series of podcasts (she mostly talks about abuse, but her Shine Buzz ones are about creating a good life for yourself)

Dr Rangan Chatterjee's podcast is great, and so is Fearne Cotton's 'Happy Place'.

How to Fail with Elizabeth Day. Sounds miserable but isn't at all. Guests come and talk through 3 of their 'failures' in life which is interesting and insightful. Often these experiences lead eventually to better things and/or serve as life lessons.

Elizabeth Day is just lovely and has a very listenable voice.

Also second Frame Cotton's Happy Place

Thanks for posting this.

I listened to Ferne Cottons most recent interview with Russell Brand last week and it really lifted my spirits.
