Anyone else in the early stages of dating during lockdown?

Very weird. Been on 2 dates. I like the guy but finding it hard getting to know him without face to face contact. Anyone else? It's been 7 weeks since our first date. I feel like I want to ask him more serious questions (nothing too ominous, just slightly deeper than 'what have you been up to today?') but not sure how. Any ideas?

I have been chatting to a couple of guys, not got as far as meeting them before this happened. one turned out to be not very nice(on the phone), so I have blocked. the other I am getting a bit bored of, mean as that sounds. he seems clever and funny but I am a bit sick of the chat without meeting! not sure how I will keep the momentum going.

have you been having phone calls and facetime? I was doing with the nutter and it felt like we actually got to know each other relatively well and had more interesting conversations. the one I am still chatting to makes a jokey effort to say 'let's talk about some deep things now's and we do. so that's more interesting t

I was on date 4 with a guy before lockdown and we'd been chatting for a number of weeks. We've been doing the usual how are you messages but also playing online quizzes and asking each other truth or dare type questions. It's been a good way to get to know him 😀

Yes me!!!

About 6 dates in - really enjoying, feeling like it could go somewhere...

I get what you mean about asking questions. There is only so much polite chit chat isn’t there.

What quizzes?

Fairycake2 · 02/04/2020 23:18

@selenaMeyer2018 We've been using Quiz planet through Facebook but I'm sure there are lots of others if you have a Google

I’m already fed up with it. I’m finding men are either really boring and not keeping the conversation going, or calling and texting me constantly when they know I’m trying to work. Can’t find a happy medium!

I met a guy just before social distancing and lockdown came into effect - managed 3 dates in quick succession! Been chatting and getting to know him ever since and I have to say its working pretty well. We seem to have more and more in common.
Anyone listening to radio one will have heard of the tinder daters who moved in together after just a couple of dates. Very cute story although I'm not sure i would recommend it!! LOL

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that the hunch I have about my guy is real and we do actually spark again when we're finally allowed out!
