Reasons DH would take selfies in only his underpants?

Selfies of him flexing his muscles while wearing only underpants - now why would he do that? Also lots of him without a top on. He’s mid 40’s not a young un! He looks great btw but is this normal behaviour in a long married man with DC?

Anyone else’s DH do this for entirely innocent reasons?

I would have said maybe weight loss before and after until I read your full post.

I can't think of one reason except to show off his body, to be admired and to be contacted by desperate women.

A bit weird. What’s he doing with the photos? Is he keeping them secret from you, or is open about them?

It may be a bit of fun, or something more worrying.

To compare how his body looks as he trains, maybe. I occasionally take bikini photos to see my progress but I don’t share them with anyone else not even DH. I usually still have my socks on 😂

No. My stbxh took topless selfies in mirror sucking his gut in for hook ups. But yours may be doing it for more innocent reasons. My stbxh had other red flags, like deleted and blocked emails in his Gmail, look at what passwords are saved, look on his history and timeline. Also there is a calculator app which looks like a normal calculator but if he keys a code in it's a secret vault he can store stuff in if he's a lying arsehole like mine was. Hopefully he's just vain though

Why are you going through his phone looking at his pictures? Is he not entitled to any privacy

If he's not a gym person, I'm afraid I'd be taking those shots and doing a reverse image search to check they aren't an online dating profile pic - sorry. :(

If he’s been going to the gym or exercising it’s perfectly normal to take progress photos - to track changes in body shape/composition over time

I do it quite a bit, some I send to my PT, others I just keep on my phone, others go on instagram. I did one in just a towel today and made my boyfriend take it 😂

Just ask, surely if you’re in a relationship with someone you should be able to ask anything.

He hasn’t shared them with me at all. They don’t look like they’ve been taken at home. Probably in the gym changing rooms. He’s been going for years but this is not something I’ve been aware of him doing until now.

I didn’t go through his phone. I found a memory card in a drawer which DS wanted to use so I checked what was on it and he must have downloaded the photos from his last phone and they were on there along with all the other photos he would have taken during that time.

Coincidentally they are from a time frame that I found emails from dating sites that he said were spam . Big drip feed there I know but there was nothing to say he’d signed up to any and although I don’t get spam from dating sites in my emails , I know it happens.

I would do some reverse searching - people often stick to older (when they were younger!) photos. And I would be checking new phone, emails, anything you can. Check for a hidden phone in the car and bank statements.

He's a cheat though - no doubt.

The ads you get are based on the sites you go on, so he was googling dating sites even if he wasn't on them, but that's two red flags. If you sit and think about it you will realise there are probably other things that make you uneasy. Trust your gut

Ads are based on sites but not spam emails. I get spam emails from dating sites all the time and I’ve never been on one in my life.

Still could be innocent - did you find any pictures of women on the memory card that were potentially sent to him or he downloaded? I probably wouldn’t jump the gun if they were taken at the gym, I take naked/half dressed selfies to see my progress when in a fitness phase. I never send them to anyone and id hope if my DH saw them and also saw my spam emails that he wouldn’t think I was signed up to a dating site to meet Vera from Russia 🙄

I never get spam emails from dating sites.

My brothers group chat with his boys are all just naked pics of them in various places, bare asses and poo.

Men are weird. If he’s taking them in the gym though, could just be an ego stroking thing. I take pictures of myself in the gym sometimes as a bit of a boost.
