Once or twice a year at night with his mate or work mates.
If he goes to the football on a Saturday he will very occasionally go to the pub either on way there or back.

Usually twice a week with his colleagues, but only for one or two pints and maybe once with me. He always asks me if I want to join him after work but I don't really want to listen to the ins and outs of sacroilliac joints or fibromyalgia or some such other rubbish so it is better that he gets it out of system outside the house.

Only if with me, except on holiday when he had a chance to watch a F1 race alone at the pub as parents were there to help with the boys

(I was a bit annyed as I like racing too....)

My Dad ahs got in into his head that DH needs more bloke time and keeps trying to take him out- all very well, but when do I get anytime? not that I mind Dh having time- but oh you know what I mean!

he goes out plenty of times, but not that often to the pub - he'll be more likely to go to a concert/film/meal with his mates

once or twice a year, but that's when his best mate comes for the weekend and they go out for dinner together.

Like lots of other men on this thread, he doesn't bother cultivating friendships outside work (saddos)

dh usually goes out once a week or every other week to pub or to play cricket or snooker or something

Have to admit I quite like having the house to myself in the evening sometimes

be glad you are not going out with my sisters boyfriend, down the pub EVERY night after work untill kicking out time and all weekend. if sister wants to see boyf she has to go down the pub, don't know why she puts up with it but there are rumblings of breaking up coming from her.

Usually at least one work related pub/social thing a week, we both meet up with mutal friends over the weekend so he never gets the chance to dissappear off then

I have a girls night out at least once a month,but if I wanted to go out more I would,both agree its fair for both of us to have equal rights to nights off.

I like it when DP goes out, ebause I can watch what I want on telly and go to bed without listening to the snoring (althiugh I usualkly get woken by him stumbling around the bedroom at midnight)

IW, there is an easy answer to that... make 'em sleep on the sofa

we on;y have a 2 seater and DP is 6ft 2.

In the evenings ? Prob about twice a month with work related stuff and prob about once a month with his best mate. He meets his mate (or his brother when they are not abroad) every other sunday afternoon.

TBH, DH and best mate prefer to come to our house so they can play pool to their hearts content (with nobody giving them evils and stacking up pound coins on the table) and XBOX 'til their eyes bleed. Oh and they don't have to listen to shit music, stand on sticky carpet or get bumped into by the world and their granny.

He is often away in the week with work, so I'm glad he's not out any more regularly than that. We'd never see him !

i enjoy the control of the remote when he's out and watch films or tv trash while i soak my feet and eat chocolate.

i go to the quiz sometimes for the sake of my marriage and to the flicks most weeks with a mate for the sake of my sanity!
