I know love is different for different people but I'm intrigued what it feels like specially for different individuals.

Love for whom?
It changes constantly depending on what is happening, what point in a relationship you're in etc
Love for 9your children is another kettle of fish altogether.

It gives you roots to keep you safe and wings to help you fly.

Love for my son mostly feels like anxiety.

Love for my partner mostly feels like safety.

Love for my family mostly feels like comfort.

The thing they all have in common is the fear of loss, more than the positives. But anyone of the people I love being happy makes me happy.

For my DD its almost a primal, protective love from somewhere deep inside like nothing I could have imagined before.

For DH it's emotion based, feeling secure and like I could trust him with my life - occasionally a little lust thrown in there too

Family I think is a familiar and comforting feeling

Aww yes what Teacake said. I am fiercely protective of my DD and go to all lengths to keep her happy and feeling secure. With partners, its attention, attentiveness, support, banter and the most magical sex lol.
