Reasons the distance in miles from an existing match on tinder would change?

I have noticed distance had changed. Obviously most likely down to him being active in different places when I just log on consistently from my couch 🤣

Can there be other reasons?

I've also noticed the time stamp on existing chat messages on tinder is now wrong compared to the date and time we actually had the chats.

He is also a year older than tinder states and says he doesn't know why it's wrong. Presumably he entered a date of birth typo.

Is the app just buggy? I'm genuinely not bothered emotionally, my eyes are wide open, I have a good head on my shoulders etc. But techy things just rip my knitting if I can't see where they've come from.

I don't think anything you have said is a red flag tbh, mileage can change as you have stated and it can't be manipulated but also it won't be 100% accurate. Time stamp must be a bug on the app and not manipulated. 1yr out on age isn't a big deal imo whether he meant it or not but I thought sign up to tinder was through fb but mayne that has changed.

Hawking at someone's tinder isn't good. Good that your eyes are wide open but, I wouldn't be looking for problems where there are none.

I wouldn't worry about it. Arrange a Skype with him so you can actually see him and then a date.

One year out can be from entering day and month the wrong way round for dob. Some sites have it the American order. Distance just means he travels around a bit and logs in from different locations. Is that an issue?

I think I'm just wondering generally if the app is glitchy. I notice a few profiles that say things like, "Last account kept crashing" etc.

I don't know. I like him. Probably best not to fuck it up by being a weirdo eh?!
