Philip Scholfeild coming out as gay after 27 years,did he only just realise or just hidden it?

Or something was about to come out in the press so he had no choice to come out now.

Well I think it was pretty obvious to most people.
I'm glad he can be himself now.
Not sure why you would hide it for that long.

We have no reason to believe it because of this reason or that.

It's possible uus wife had known for a long time and chose to remain in the marriage. Apparantly it was well known in celeb circles. Maybe he has been forced to come out, due to bribery. Maybe his wife has decided she wants to seperate and for her to have her own life. Maybe he thought it was time.

Who knows. I doubt we will ever know the full truth.

The surprise to me was when he got married at all, as he so obviously seemed gay.

@hellsbellsmelons homophobia is still a thing, and the older people are/time when they realised they were gay such as 80s etc, has an effect on how comfortable they feel with coming out publically.

It's been an open secret in certain circles for years. I remember friends who had worked with him being shocked when he married.

I'm just sad that people stil feel the need to 'come out'. afterall no one comes out because they have blue eyes!
