Anyone heard of the dating app 'WooPlus'?

Hi. I am an attractive plus size woman, who'd like to meet someone without worrying about my weight.
I've just googled specific dating sites, and found WooPlus, which is apparently the Tinder of the plus size!
I've only ever stuck to Match, and have fared well on there generally, but I want a change. I'm a nice, normal person who wants to attract a genuine guy, as opposed to someone with a chubby fetish! Has anyone heard of this app? Still deliberating over whether or not it's a good idea ...
Thanks.

You'll only find fetishists on a fetish dating site. Sorry.

Dieu · 28/01/2020 19:04

Yeah, I guess you're right. And I wouldn't be at all comfortable with that. I'm just a normal - albeit fabulous! - woman, looking for the same in a match.

I am still curious to see if anyone has experienced the app though!

Ha ha, albeit completely unintentionally!

I discovered it last year and used it for a few months. Absolute rubbish and the majority of reviews talk about issues with payment and not getting their money back.

I believe that the majority of profiles on there were fake and almost all of the men that came up for me were well over 20 miles away. I live in Greater London, so it would appear there isn't a single man in London who likes plus size. The few men that I did talk to, that were less than 50 miles away, were obnoxious and rude and much like any other dating site, nowadays, only seemed to want sex. So I deleted it after perhaps two months.

No experience but id imagine sticking to the usual type OLD sites and just being honest in profile and pics would be a better way to meet normal people.

WanderingLost167 · 29/01/2020 12:11

I'd agree, I'm open about my size

Whiterabbitears · 29/01/2020 14:11

I'm online dating and I'm plus size. My experience has been that I'm very open about my size, including pics. I've found that you get the guys with the plus size fetish where that's all they want to talk about and they don't seem interested in me as a person. The guys who haven't mentioned my size seem more genuine. I would be worried if it's a plus size dating app, all the men there would just want sex with a bigger girl. I do get why you're thinking of joining though, I have found some guys on regular sites absolute arses when they discover you're plus sized. Especially when they're not prince charming themselves! Hmm

Aww, thanks for the last flurry of replies there. I hadn't been expecting that, and it was a nice surprise Smile
I just came back on to say that I did sign up, but then promptly deleted my account! I hadn't realised that you needed to pay to chat Hmm so that'll be a no from me.
Hope this update saves anyone else from wasting their time.
I've put on weight recently and feel a bit shit about myself. I thought a few dates with some guys who like a plump lass would be good for my confidence, while trying to lose some weight and then meeting 'the one'. Grin My instinct absolutely tells me that I won't meet my best match until I'm slimmer and feeling better about myself. In the meantime however, I am kind of missing the dating.
Ah well, maybe this will give me the kick up the fat! arse I need.
Thanks all.
