My boyfriend, he’s ex girlfriend & their 3 kids

So basically I’ve been dating my boyfriend for 11 months. Him and his ex have always been rocky , she won’t let him see the kids without her guarding him so he has to go to her house every weekend and spends 5 hours there. Kids are 5/11/16
He pays 600 child maintenance a month and try’s to get to see them but she won’t allow him to take them out
It’s causing a great deal of stress on our relationship, I find it difficult to trust his actions since before we dated he was a player and over shared all his Behaviors with me. Don’t ask why I got with him, things just happened and here I am

What would you do

Sorry but chances are he is still sleeping with his ex. And if he isn't, it's just weird as to why he would be spending so much time in her house. If there was nothing between them, it would be as awkward as hell for those 5 hours! Ditch him 100%.

What do you mean she won't let him see the kids? One of them is 16 for goodness sakes. I'd like to know how anyone stops a 16 year old from seeing their dad.

Sounds like baby mum drama id want to steer clear from.

IMO the kids are old enough to go out for the day with their dad and even have overnight but you know the issue is with you and not his parenting skills. She will be wanting to cause problems between you and ‘have her family back for 5 hours on a Sunday’ but if he didn’t like being there he has his own mind and mouth and could say no I’m taking them on a day out.

Sorry op I’d get out before drama begins
