I am trying to pluck up courage to use online dating, I keep looking but that is as far as it goes at the mo! Just been having a nose (haven't looked in months) when I discover there is a gentleman that I used to work with over 30 years ago! My DB is a friend of his on FB. Part of me wants to message him on FB (I have not paid for membership on the dating site) but a bigger part of me says no way !!

I have been separated from DH for a good few years - his choice not mine, he was already in a relationship when he left me. I have found it very tough to move on just in case he changed his mind But realistically I do know it is the end of our relationship and have never told a soul what I have just written!

I would message him. I've been contacted by lots of people I vaguely know on the apps. It's nice to have some shared friends/history at the start of the relationship.

I would wait for him to message me and only date if i was attracted enough to risk aekwardness otherwise block and pretend didnt see them there.
