It's been 27 years so I'm seriously out of touch! Following the breakdown of my marriage I've met an amazing guy, but it's almost Christmas help! I won't see him on the day but he is very generous with flowers, chocolates etc and the wine was a £20 bottle - I'm not exactly flush with cash. Apart from a homemade cake (which he admits to missing since leaving his wife if a similar number of years) any ideas ... a tie etc is so lame. We haven't done proper gifts for years instead going on holidays so I'm out of touch
