Husband talks to me like a child

I don’t know how to get out of the cycle.

I’ve just been ordered to bed by twatty husband. He often does this after an argument.

I call him out on it but he doesn’t stop doing it.

He is also incredibly snappy lately.

I don’t know how she’s to get him to stop talking to me like it.

Growing up my dad snapped at us kids a lot and I can’t stand it. Had I realised husband would turn into this I wouldn’t have married him but I don’t want to leave either, I just want him to stop it.

He's sending you to bed? That's hilarious. Have you got kids? I'd be running straight upstairs to bed and leaving him to it.

AllTheGlitter · 22/11/2019 19:32

Fuck going to bed, go to the pub and leave him to it!

pinkyredrose · 22/11/2019 19:34

He's a cunt.

Winterdaysarehere · 22/11/2019 19:35

I hope you laughed in his face...

Singlenotsingle · 22/11/2019 19:37

I don't need to be told! I bet you haven't got kids, have you? Most men wouldn't want to be left to look after them on their own. Seriously through, go out to a friend's house next time he does this.

Cauliflowerpower · 22/11/2019 19:39

Hope you told him to fuck right off!!!

Oh no! You said fuck. Ima gonna tell....

Fairylea · 22/11/2019 19:45

So what happens if you say no? Stick out your tongue childishly and blow a raspberry and say no like the child he’s treating you like? He sounds horrible.

Sally2791 · 22/11/2019 21:03

Laugh and go out. For quite a long time.

IHateWashingUp2 · 22/11/2019 21:07

Does he order you to do other things too, OP? Do you obey? What happens if you don’t?
You could try Googling “coercive control”, see if it rings any bells.

Cambionome · 22/11/2019 21:08

How bloody dare he?! I hope you totally ignore him. Angry

WhoKnewBeefStew · 22/11/2019 21:11

Omg OP, please tell me you didn't go to bed!
Tbh tell him 'NO!!

SpicyRibs · 22/11/2019 23:35

He doesn't respect you, sorry. If he did, he wouldn't speak to you like that.

readitandwept · 22/11/2019 23:41

He should have at least tried you on a timeout on the naughty step first.

RhinoskinhaveI · 23/11/2019 02:21

You just laugh at him surely ...wouldn't you?

fit4more · 23/11/2019 06:12

Tell us you didn’t do what he said!!!

Countryescape · 23/11/2019 11:59

What and you did what he said? Got to be a joke!

T0tallyFuckedUpFamily · 23/11/2019 12:26

Posters are making light of this and there’s absolutely nothing funny about it. The OP has explained that he’s snappy and bossy and she needs help. I’m sorry OP. You sound very unhappy and he shines horrible. You don’t treat people that you love, as if they’re there to do your biding.

T0tallyFuckedUpFamily · 23/11/2019 12:27

*he sounds horrible

fedup21 · 23/11/2019 12:27

At 7pm?!

What did you say??
