I know that this site is about bad relationships, but i feel like i need to say that some people are very happy, and i dont want to upset anyone but i just want to tell you all how much i love my partner and how much he love's me. He's only here for 6 months of the year but he's the most fab guy/dad. He changes all the pooie nappie's when i cant, sends me little treats from work, ie flowers underwear, perfume, wine!! Is desperate for me to send pics of baba when he's not here and cooks like a god when he's at home. So any one have something great to say about there partner or am i the only one?

I don't just love my husband.

That's the easy part.

I respect him as much as I respect myself.

Is there a large body of water between you and him, Kerry?

Even better, IME!

well i have to say that my steve is lovely, he does the ironing and makes me coffee in bed some mornings, it was our 10th wedding anniversary recently and although he was quite poorly he got his mum to take him to the shops and brought me a lovely eternity ring.

Mine finished work at lunchtime, then didn't bat an eyelid when I left him with the children to disappear to bed with the laptop for 3 hours

I always think of this song. I'm not a country-western fan, but I grew up mostly in Texas and when I was a kid this song used to come and I can still hear it sometimes. It's called 'Close Enough to Perfect' and it's by Alabama:

Sometimes her morning coffees way too strong
And sometimes what she says she says all wrong
Heaven knows shes not an angel but shed really like to be
And thats close enough to perfect for me

Now shes been known to wear her pants too tight
And drinking puts her out just like a light
Right or wrong shes there beside me like only a friend
Would be
And thats close enough to perfect for me

Chorus:
She kisses me each morning
And smiles her sleepy smile
And she dont have to say it
I can see it in her eyes
Dont you worry about my woman
Or what you think she ought to be
cause shes close enough to perfect for me

He's sexier now than when I married him. And richer

oh, we have gone through some rough times, but we always have worked through them, because firstly we are great friends...I love him to bits, and I know dh feels the same about me...even though neither is mostly romantic, but we do tell eachother....
I also know that dh still finds me sexy, whihc is lovely to know, after almost 12 years of amrriage and 3 children...
dh is great with teh Kids, and even though he isn't always physically available, when he is he is full on.
dh doesn't make a fuss about the state of the house and doesn't complain if he is roped into helping, like when we expect guest and need that quick spick and span thing..
dh is actually winning wiht age, he is not the most handsome by most peoples standards, I suppose, but to me there is just that extra somehting that makes me love him...on the other hand I am not the most obvious beautyful woman there is in the land but there is something that he loves about me, that he finds me beautyful...
dh makes me laugh and can really get me cross and argumentative, and gosh sometimes we do argue...but neither ever can keep up being grumpy, so usually we tell eachother just how we feel in no uncertain tones and than it's forgotten...
anywya...I know I am rambling...but I do love him

Expat...on the song side of things...All woman by Lisa Sansfield springs to mind for me...not that my hubby treats me ignorant, but I feel sometimes so ..erm...well..can't think about teh term right now..sorry..but anyway all woman always makes me cry
