Had my DS 8th birthday yesterday, had party in our village which "D"M was invited to.
She's mid 70s had various health issues and is also a narc.
She arrived without a card or present, didn't speak to anyone (few parents around) and hardly made any effort to speak to my DS who she's not seen for a year. Didn't ask about her kids or her, nothing. I gave her some homemade cake (which I have to say looked bloody amazing) and when I asked her what it was like she's said it was Ok but her face sort of sneered.
I honestly don't know if I should tackle her about it, she couldn't of made it more obvious really she didn't want to be there or just leave the old cow to her miserable life. No point mentioning it to my dad as he's away and will only defend her.
I did wonder if she's maybe getting some kind of dementia or just a rude cow?
