Me and my partner have just split up but now I don't know what to do. I have no family or friends, my name isn't on the lease for the house so I've no right to be here on my own anyway, I've asked.. Well.. Told him to go to his dad's until I find somewhere to live but he won't go. I have nowhere to go and he won't go. We live in a tiny back to back house, there's barely enough room to breathe let alone both stay here. What the hell do I do? We have a 4 year old dd and I really don't want to mess her about, I just wanted him to go for a bit so I could sort out other arrangements. It's such a mess.

Is it rented? Owned? Council?

If it's rented solely in his name I don't see much you can do.

Can you present yourself at the council offices on Monday?

If he’s been in anyway aggressive or threatening you can apply for an Occupation Order

Wishihad · 10/08/2019 13:04

Unfortunately, you cant make him.

I would just try and get my teeth, get the money together and move asap.

I thought as much. It's a rented house, he lived here before I did and I moved in 6 years ago, the landlady knows I'm here but my name has never been put on the lease.
I also don't work. I've emailed about a house around the corner from dds school, I'm just hoping lha covers it and they'll accept it

Sorry you are having a horrible time. Not much you can do if not on the lease. Grit your teeth make your exit plan and disengage from ex as much ad possible. This situation won't last for ever.... Be strong.
