I have feelings for narcissist best friend

That’s it really. We’re best friends. I’m a loving person with high empathy. He seems to love me as a friend, possibly because he can tell that I adore him, although I have never said. He has a girlfriend.

I’m considering trying to become genuine friends with him, introducing him to my boyfriend (who I’m working on things with).

I don’t want to lose my best friend. Do you think it’s possible to become genuine friends with my narc bff.

I get a huge amount of pleasure from the friendship. I guess he’s just reflecting me back at myself as narcs do but still.

All advice welcome.

Haha no, he will only ever care about one person, and it's not you, stepping over people with abandon, causing the deepest of hurts and only ever caring about himself.

There's various books, Dr. Susan Forward's "The Men Who Hate Women and the Women Who Love Them" could well the best tenner you'll spend in a very long time.

Narcs never, ever, change, for anyone, or anything.
