Where/how do I meet a woman for r/ship?

Just that really. I'm n my mid 40's and am bisexual but am really feeling more and more towards the lesbian end of the sexuality spectrum at the moment. I have had dalliance with women in my old clubbing days but never a relationship.

I am in the NW and have thought about going to the gay village in Manchester but where do I go and what do I do??? Just feel so inept with all this ... help!

Just go out dancing - dance music clubs attract many people and you can dance and have fun with no pressure. I pull all the time even though I'm not looking and I'm in my 40's! If you like a girl just say hello and if she says hello back then chat.

Make friends with other women at the gym. Then later you can do a quick Facebook stalk and see which way they swing ;)

Had a quick Google and there's a meetup.com group 'bisexual and lesbian women in Manchester', you could join and chatter on there about where to go

I’d go down the route of joining Meet-up and looking for meet-ups in the area (there’s loads of lgbt groups around Manchester) or joining a dating website. Bumble seems to weed out most of the crazies whereas POF is awash with them.

You have a bit of a wait but Manchester pride is in August. You'll have fun and find plenty of women to chat to I'm sure. Even if you might not just bump into the right type of woman on an app or out and about, it will only take making a few gay friends before your network is a bit wider and you will meet more single gay/bi women. Friends of friends of friends, etc.
