I broke up with my boyfriend the other day. I'm ok during the day but when not at work it just hits me and I'm mega emotional all over again.

I need some motivational ideas to help pick myself up. I don't really have anyone around for support so going to speak to friends isn't really an option 😭

Ah me too Flowers its shit but you've got this. You need to make plans and take care of yourself. Through my random crying today I've gone out for a coffee, slapped on some fake tan and made enquiries about gym memberships. I'm hoping I'll meet a new circle of people through fitness etc Smile

Oh it's crap isn't it. I've been thinking about gym membership. It's not usually the sort of thing I do but thinking it might help and will get me out!! Quite restricted during the weeks though due to having my son.
I've been to Tesco to get some goodies to much on and had a browse at clothes but still find myself sat crying in the car and staring at our text messages

First of all, listen to Kontrust's "Bulldozer" (or whatever heavy/industrial/pirate/metal rock brings you joy without measure)

Move to the music! Use your body in ways you're not usually.

If your DS enjoys it and space allows, consider getting a refurbshed Nintendo Wii and some of the old Just Dance games - me and my son used to love competing and we'd both have a great cardio workout. I now realise why I could eat and drink like a pig in my teens and not gain weight - because I walked everywhere and went out dancing 3 times a night!
